As a thirty year genealogy veteran I have spent countless hours wandering through cemeteries and have come to appreciate them not only for the information that I have collected, but for their serenity and beauty.
Cemeteries and the gravestones that dot the landscape are not only repositories for earthly remains but are a vast storehouse of information, not only about those who are interred there, but the community as well.
